Take your complete fly shop on the road and tie premium patterns wherever your destination leads with the Fishpond Backwater Fly Tying Kit bag. Purpose-built for mobile anglers, this premium travel case packs smart, high-capacity organization into a compact 14.4-liter footprint that slips easily into airline carry-on or checked luggage. The intelligently designed interior features a heavily padded pocket with a specialized stretch sleeve to securely isolate and protect your delicate vise heads and heavy pedestal bases from damage. Two spacious, see-through storage pouches keep your hooks, dubbing, and hackle completely visible, dry, and perfectly tidy. For your fine mechanics, a streamlined, rugged Hypalon tool page keeps your scissors, bobbins, whip finishers, and pliers securely pinned down, preventing them from shifting or tearing up delicate feathers and furs. Load it up, zip it shut, and enjoy a professional, self-contained workshop on any tabletop or camp tailgate.

Rocky Mountain Mobile Camp-Tying & Arid Climate Hackle Protection: Wyoming fly fishing trips often mean camping in remote river corridors—like the Upper North Platte or the Green River—where local hatches shift rapidly from day to night. Packing your gear in random plastic bins or loose bags exposes expensive dry fly hackles, bucktails, and marabou to crushing forces and fine, abrasive high-altitude dust. The Backwater Kit bag acts as a fortified vault against the elements. Its dust-resistant zippers keep harsh alkali silt from ruining your materials, while the integrated tool page prevents razor-sharp tying scissors from puncturing other gear when bouncing down washboard dirt roads. It allows you to hop out of the truck, set up a mobile tying station on your tailgate, and instantly match the exact scale of real river midges or stoneflies in minutes.
