Caddis are one of the most abundant food sources for trout in streams and rivers.  As caddis get ready to hatch they emerge from their casing and work their way to the water's surface. During this transition they often tumble helplessly in the current where trout await.  The Super Pupa TB has a tungsten bead to help keep the fly deep and near the bottom.
