Conventional fly rods are a poor substitute for a precisely developed lake rod. These new rods were designed to get anglers fishing more effectively and efficiently in lakes of all sizes.
The ideal saltwater rod is one that will help you hit your target with the minimum number of false casts. When targeting flats fish, things happen quickly and usually in the 40 to 60 foot “kill zone.” Everything about an ECHO PRIME rod has been optimized to help you succeed in the zone.
The Bureau of Reclamation has set the dates for the fluctuating flows of the spring flush. These will begin March 25th to April 3rd. Flows will be anywhere from 500 cfs - 4,000 cfs during these days. See below for a schedule of flow fluctuations. These flows will repeat daily and end on the 3rd. For any questions or concerns feel free to give the shop a call!
On this episode of the Ugly Bug Podcast, Blake sits down with our long time guide Tyler Soulek and chats everything North Platte and dry fly fishing.
