Keep your essential gear perfectly dry, close at hand, and completely clear of your casting arm with the highly versatile Fishpond Thunderhead® HD Submersible Sling Pack. Engineered for tactical anglers who want the storage capacity of a daypack without the restrictive bulk of a full backpack, this premium 15-liter (915 cu in) sling delivers absolute waterproof defense. The main compartment is fully submersible and sealed with a master-grade TIZIP® closure, while an exterior quick-access pocket utilizes a TRU® Zip zipper to shield smaller valuables. Its innovative, ambidextrous design carries comfortably on either shoulder and rotates forward instantly for rapid access to fly boxes and tools. Built from a TPU-laminated, 100% recycled 1000D high-tenacity polyester ripstop shell, the molded back panel features an integrated net slot that accommodates long-handle nets from either side. Complete with a shoulder strap tool pad, a cross-body stabilization strap, and multiple attachment points for rod tubes or bear spray holsters, this pack keeps you light on your feet and ready for anything.

Rocky Mountain Deep Wading & Ambidextrous Casting Freedom: Wading the powerful currents of Wyoming rivers—like the deep tailwater slots of the Miracle Mile or the rocky stretches of the North Platte right through Casper—presents a constant risk of taking an unexpected dip. Standard zippered packs absorb water instantly, ruining expensive fly boxes and truck fobs. The Thunderhead HD Sling's airtight TIZIP® system gives you absolute, submersible peace of mind when crossing deep channels. More importantly, its ambidextrous shoulder configuration allows you to choose exactly which side the pack sits on. By keeping the sling on your non-casting shoulder, your casting arm stays completely unencumbered, preventing line tangles and friction when throwing large attractor rigs into a stiff 35 mph prairie wind. When the day is done, the smooth TPU shell rejects fine high-altitude alkali dust and river mud, letting you simply hose it down at the station.
