Strip away the unnecessary weight and protect your core setup from the elements with the ultra-compact. Its rugged exterior is crafted from a TPU-laminated, 100% recycled 1000D high-tenacity polyester ripstop shell accented with corrosion-proof aluminum hardware. The comfortable molded back panel features an integrated net slot to secure your landing net, while the fully removable lumbar strap allows the pack to wear traditionally on your hips, slide onto a wading belt system, or function as a compact boat bag. Complete with a padded shoulder strap, built-in plier sheath, tippet holder attachment points, and a removable floating interior pocket, this modular pack delivers maximum protection without getting in the way of your day.

• Rocky Mountain Deep Wading & Alkaline Dust Defense: Wading the powerful, waist-deep tailwater slots of Wyoming rivers—like the Miracle Mile or the rushing canyon stretches of the Shoshone—presents a constant risk of taking an unexpected swim. Standard zippered canvas or nylon hip packs absorb water instantly, soaking your expensive fly boxes and ruining your truck fobs. The Thunderhead HD Small Lumbar's airtight TIZIP® system ensures absolute, submersible peace of mind, allowing you to cross deep channels with complete confidence. Furthermore, when traveling down the unpaved, blustery dirt roads to regional access points, Wyoming's relentless winds kick up incredibly fine alkali dust. While this micro-grit quickly jams standard zippers and grinds down internal gear, the seamless, welded TPU-laminated shell keeps fine dust completely locked outside, protecting your equipment from the elements.
