Our favorite classes of the year are posted! This one is for the girls only! Ugly Bugs and Crazy Ladies 2025 dates are posted, and registration is open!
Ugly Bugs and Crazy Ladies was started in hopes of helping the women of Casper, and surrounding areas get into the sport of fly fishing. It has turned out to be one of our favorites!
We offer two different levels. The 101 class is meant for beginners to learn the fundamentals of fly fishing, bugs and fly tying. Meet us at the fly shop Thursday and Friday night from 6-8pm for casting and fly tying, then enjoy a full day guided trip on the Grey Reef! This is no experience necessary! We're there to walk you through every step of the way!
The 201 class is the next stair step to becoming a more independent angler! Start with Thursday night in the fly shop for fly tying. Friday meet up for a half day walk and wade trip, to learn knots, how to properly rig your rod, and match the hatch! Then a full day float on Saturday on the famous Miracle Mile with one of our professional guides!
