This caddis pattern is very realistic and fishes really well. It is a representation of a caddis larva, but works well most of the year! 

This fly is tied on a barbless jig hook and has a mottled tungsten bead to look as natural as possible, with black wing pads offer a striking contrast to the body color. This has proven to be one of the most effective caddis pupa patterns.
